Peace club comprises a group of young children aspiring to become peacebuilders, peacemakers, and peace promoters. The peace clubs are formed in educational institutions between 10-30 members in a club.

 

The main function of Peace Club is to share, learn, heal, and promote reconciliation and upholding the values of truth and justice. Members are informed about the movement and its activities and goals. They are trained in peacebuilding skills and regularly discuss problems with a view to finding solutions. They are also trained in public speaking, empathy, and thus, to hold a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.

 

This is influenced through peace celebrations and capacity building programs by following a systematic strategy namely; Information, Formation, Transformation, and Evaluation. The Movement stresses on an individual transformation, which can eventually lead to the transformation of the society as a whole.
